Jasper Clayton Butler - In 1977 interview, the ambulance driver stated the time he received the dispatch to the time of death at Methodist Hospital was 4 minutes which would have made the time of death prior to 1:11. M.D. Liquori - The medical doctor who wrote the time at Methodist Hospital for the Tippit time of death as 1:15.
T.F. Bowley - In an affidavit of Dec. 2, 1963, stated he looked at his watch on the scene of arrival of the Tippit murder and it was 1:10. Bowley picked up his daughter each day at the R.L. Thornton Elementary school at 12:55 and his wife at Zangs and Ninth. The elementary school is 16 minutes on Google Maps time estimates to go the slow way down Marsalis, which it appears that Bowley went. It's 12 or 13 minute ETA's if you go the two other freeway ways.
Helen Markham - Left her Washeteria at 1:04 to start her journey to work. She lived one block from the place she stopped to witness the murder.
Mr. BALL. You left your home to go to work at some time, didn't you, that day?
Mrs. MARKHAM. At one.
Mr. BALL. One o'clock?
Mrs. MARKHAM. I believe it was a little after 1.
Mr. BALL. Where did you intend to catch the bus?
Mrs. MARKHAM. On Patton and Jefferson.
Mr. BALL. Patton and Jefferson is about a block south of Patton and 10th Street, isn't it?
Mrs. MARKHAM. I think so.
Mr. BALL. Well, where is your home from Patton and Jefferson?
Mrs. MARKHAM. I had came--I come one block, I had come one block from my home.
Mr. BALL. You were walking, were you?
Mrs. MARKHAM. I came from 9th to the corner of 10th Street.
Mr. BALL. So you were walking south toward Jefferson?
Mrs. MARKHAM. Yes, sir.
Mr. BALL. You think it was a little after 1?
Mrs. MARKHAM. I wouldn't be afraid to bet it wasn't 6 or 7 minutes after 1.
Mr. BALL. You know what time you usually get your bus, don't you?
Mrs. MARKHAM. 1:15.
Mr. BALL. So it was before 1:15?
Mrs. MARKHAM. Yes, it was. (3 H 306)
Markham testified that she had walked one block to the murder scene and had one block to go to get to her bus stop. She testified that it was BEFORE 1:15 when she witnessed the murder, but at least "6 or 7 minutes after 1". Any LN numbskull must explain how it is that she was going to catch a 1:15 bus and was still one block away from the bus stop at 1:15. Was she purposely intending to be late for the bus?
Original DPD Transcripts - The original DPD transcript was 1:10 for the call in. The later was changed to 1:19.
