We have seen many posts that have destroyed the Warren Commission’s (WC) claim of a Single Bullet (SBT) hitting both John F. Kennedy (JFK) and John B. Connally (JBC). Here are some more comments that do this and they are by the WC itself!
**************************
On page 105 of their own Report they say the following:

The bullet that hit President Kennedy in the back and exited through his throat MOST LIKELY could not have missed both the automobile and its occupants. Since it did NOT hit the automobile, Frazier testified that it PROBABLY struck Governor Connally. The relative positions of President Kennedy and Governor Connally at the time when the President was struck in the neck confirm that the same bullet PROBABLY passed both through the two men. (Emphasis added) (WCR, p. 105)

So we see the WHOLE case of the WC rested on a PROBABLY! They then confirmed their OWN probably with the second comment, but we still see they are left with a probably as our solution to the WC’s claim!
There is more contradiction in the Report too. On page 107 they say this about Governor Connally at the time of supposed impact.

Governor’s Connally’s doctors measured an declination on his body from the entry wound on his back to the exit on the front of his chest at about 25 degrees when he sat erect. That difference was explained by either a slight deflection of the bullet caused by striking the fifth rib or the Governor’s LEANING SLIGHTLY BACKWARDS at the time he was struck. (Emphasis added) (WCR, p. 107)

We know the first explanation is not the correct one since Connally’s own doctor said so. Also, the error was made as JBC's doctor testified to 27 degrees NOT 25 degrees.
Mr. SPECTER. Would the shattering of the rib have had any effect in deflecting the path of the bullet from a straight line?
Dr. SHAW. It could have, except that in the case of this injury, the rib was obviously struck so that not too dense cancellus portion of the rib in this position was carried away by the bullet and probably there was very little in the way of deflection.
This leaves us with option two—JBC was leaning slightly backwards at the time of alleged impact. The WC refuted this themselves when they said this on page 105 of their Report.

The President wore a back brace which tended to make him sit up straight, and the Governor also SAT ERECT since the jump seat gave him little leg room. (Emphasis added) (WCR, p. 105)

We see NEITHER explanation by the WC is plausible since a deflection of the bullet by a rib is very remote and JBC was NOT leaning backwards at the time of impact per the WC. The real truth came out on page 107 of the Report.

The alinement of the points of entry was only INDICATIVE and NOT CONCLUSIVE that one bullet hit both men. (Emphasis added) (WCR, p. 107)

It would seem the WC did what many WC defenders claim I do—they gave their OWN interpretation of the evidence instead of telling us what the evidence ACTUALLY SHOWED! I don’t do this, but this is what they have accused me of, but, on the other hand, they have NO issue with the WC doing it.
Once again we see the WC lived in a world of “probably”, “could have”, “might have”, “most likely” and “theoretically” instead of one of hard supporting evidence.
It gets worse for them too (if that is possible). Dr. Humes said in his WC testimony that the angle of the wound to the head/neck area of JFK was 45 degrees.
Mr. SPECTER - Could you state for the record an approximation of the angle of decline?
Commander HUMES - Mathematics is not my forte. Approximately 45 degrees from the horizontal.
The issue comes in when we look at page 106 of the WC’s OWN Report. They wrote this on page 106.

A surveyor then placed his sighting equipment at the precise point of entry on the back of the President’s neck, assuming that the President was struck at frame 210, and measured the angle to the end of the muzzle of the rifle positioned where it was believed to have been held by the assassin…Allowing for a downward street grade of 3 degrees 9 feet, the probable angle through the President’s body was calculated at 17 degrees 43 feet 30 inches, assuming he was sitting in a vertical position. (WCR, p. 106)

Since the Z-film shows JFK sitting in a vertical position we see the point of entry according to the surveyor hired by the WC was less than EIGHTEEN DEGREES! JBC’s doctor said before the WC that the bullet that hit JBC came in at a 27 degree angle (IV, pp. 137-38) so how did Commander Humes get an angle of 45 degrees?
As we saw neither explanation by the WC held any weight either as JBC’s doctor discounted the deflection scenario and JBC seemed incapable of leaning back due to the jump seat he was sitting in. These are very KEY points as the WC could NOT realistically show the angles matched up to the sixth floor of the Texas School Book Depository (TSBD) as they claimed.
The WC even admitted this again on page 107 when they wrote this.

In addition, the angle COULD NOT be fixed with absolute precision, since the large wound on the front of his [JBC] chest PRECLUDED an EXACT determination of the point of exit. (Emphasis added) (WCR, p. 107)
