The Warren Commission (WC) said that Lee Harvey Oswald (LHO) fired three shots at President John F. Kennedy (JFK) and killed him ALL BY HIMSELF with NO help from anyone!
If that is true, then how did one of our leading newspapers (some say the number one paper) get it so wrong soon after the assassination? How did the Parkland Hospital (PH) doctors get it so wrong too? How did the WC, who NEVER saw the body or the photographs of the autopsy, know BETTER than the doctors who first treated JFK where the shots were and from what DIRECTION they came?
You guess is as good as mine—so go ahead and guess!
Let’s look at several quotes by the New York Times newspaper and see what they were saying soon after the assassination and BEFORE the announcement of the WC being formed (11/29/63)!
*******************************************
Let’s begin with this one from the day AFTER the assassination.
Quote on
Later in the afternoon, Dr. Malcolm Perry, an attending surgeon, and Dr. Kemp Clark, Chief of Neurosurgery at Parkland Hospital, gave more details. Mr. Kennedy was hit by a bullet in the THROAT, just below the Adam’s apple, they said. This wound had the APPEARANCE of a bullet’s ENTRY. (New York Times, 11/23/63) (Emphasis mine)

We see they said the bullet APPEARED TO BE ONE OF ENTRY, NOT exit as the WC would “presume” with NO evidence. We also know it was NOT caused by a 6.5 mm COPPER bullet as claimed either. Why? Because this was in the WC’s OWN twenty-six volumes of evidence.

…During the course of the spectrographic examinations previously conducted on the fabric surrounding the hole in the front of the shirt, including the tie, NO COPPER WAS FOUND in excess of that present elsewhere in undamaged areas of the shirt and tie. Therefore, NO COPPER WAS FOUND WHICH COULD BE ATTRIBUTED TO PROJECTILE FRAGMENTS.

Since NO traces of copper were found ABOVE the levels found in the parts of the shirt and tie NOT affected by a hole this PROVES a COPPER 6.5 mm (the type LHO was alleged to use) could NOT have caused the damage to the throat (via the shirt and tie).
This PROVES a bullet different from the type LHO alleged used caused this wound. It also means LHO could NOT have caused this wound IF he was firing (and there is NO evidence showing he did shoot at JFK) because it ENTERED JFK FROM THE FRONT and LHO would have been BEHIND the limousine! Both of these points mean a conspiracy took place as at least someone else was shooting from in FRONT of the limousine!
But wait, there is more! In the 11/27/63 edition of the New York Times we see this:
Quote on
Three shots are known to have been fired. Two hit the President. One did NOT EMERGE. Dr. Kemp Clark, who pronounced Mr. Kennedy dead, said one struck him at about the necktie knot. It ranged DOWNWARD in his chest and did NOT exit. (New York Times, 11/27/63) (Emphasis mine)

We see here that ONE bullet did NOT emerge, but the WC said they ALL did! According to them here is what happened:
1) The first shot missed and went on to hit James Tague who was standing near the Triple Underpass. (How this could happen given the angles involved is unknown.
2) The second shot hit JFK near the base of the neck (per the WC, but the clothes, Sibert & O’Neill FBI report and official death certificate show it hit at the area of the T-3 vertebrae and did NOT trasverse the body), exited out of his throat and then went on to hit Governor Connally in the back, this is known as the magic bullet. And,
3) The third shot hit JFK in the head and then broke into three pieces—one of which was claimed to have caused the dent in the windshield frame.
We see three shots and three EXITS based on what the WC said, but the doctor in charge at PH said this one bullet did NOT exit and went into JFK’s chest area. How did the WC explain that? They didn’t. They also did NOT publish any of the X-rays or photographs taken of JFK at the autopsy. They basically IGNORED this issue. Can any WC defender explain this for me?
We have seen the bullet that hit JFK in the throat was NOT a 6.5 mm COPPER type (the alleged type LHO allegedly used per the WC) either so what type of ammunition was used? We will never know for sure, but one type seemed to be mentioned quite a bit in this case--.30 caliber—so to assume this was used is not out of the realm of possibility.
The quote above mentions the bullet went DOWNWARD after entering the throat so how would this happen if the shot came level from the Grassy Knoll (GK) area? IT could have hit the spine, but we don’t for sure since the throat would was ORDERED NOT to be examined or dissected at the autopsy. Could this shot have come from the Triple Underpass?
