Methodist Hospital Authorized Permit For Autopsy:

The Warren Commission (WC) claimed that Lee Harvey Oswald (LHO) shot and killed Dallas Police Officer J.D. Tippit (JDT) on November 22, 1963, when he was "fleeing" from his assassination of President John F. Kennedy (JFK).
Here is some detail on the shooting from the WC Report (WCR).

At approximately 1:15 p.m., Tippit,...passed the intersection of Tenth and Patton,...Tippit stopped a man walking east along the south side of Patton. The man's general description was similar to the one broadcast over the police radio. Tippit stopped the man and called him to his car. He approached the car and apparently exchanged words with Tippit through the right front or vent window. Tippit got out and started to walk around the front of the car. As Tippit reached the left front wheel the man pulled out a revolver and fired several shots. Four bullets hit Tippit and killed him instantly. (WCR, p. 165)

The first thing we see in this paragraph is the time at which JDT supposedly stopped LHO according to the WC. It was approximately 1:15 p.m. IF this is correct, it would be a miracle as the time of death for JDT was 1:15 p.m. according to the Methodist Hospital! Also, keep in mind, that is when he arrived at the hospital and he was ALREADY DEAD when he got there! Here is the form from Dr. Earl Rose, the Dallas Coroner, and Methodist Hospital.

So how could JDT be DEAD and still stop LHO or anyone else? The next thing that jumps out at the reader is the claim that "the man" (presumably LHO) was similar to the general description that went out over the police radio shortly before this sighting by JDT. There are several issues with this claim. Firstly, the description was sent out based on descriptions obtained in Dealey Plaza (DP) for the supposed assassin of JFK. To this day we do not know who furnished this description as the WC's claim of it being Howard Brennan is NOT supported by the evidence. This description also did NOT include the clothing the man was wearing, and the height and weight were guesses as supposedly someone on the ground could see the man in the SIXTH FLOOR WINDOW! In short, this description was worthless.
Secondly, why would JDT assume a man walking in a quiet neighborhood of Oak Cliff was the escaped assassin of JFK? And if he did, why was he talking with him first? Was it to confirm it?
"Hey, how are you?"
"Good."
"Did you happen to gun down that Commie-loving President of ours a little while ago?"
"I sure did."
"Let me shake your hand my friend."
The rest is history. What other reason could he have been talking with him for if not this? It was a friendly conversation too according to star witness Helen Markham.
Mr. BALL. Then what did you see the man do?
Mrs. MARKHAM. I saw the man come over to the car very slow, leaned and put his arms just like this, he leaned over in this window and looked in this window.
Mr. BALL. He put his arms on the window ledge?
Mrs. MARKHAM. The window was down.
Mr. BALL. It was?
Mrs. MARKHAM. Yes, sir.
Mr. BALL. Put his arms on the window ledge?
Mrs. MARKHAM. On the ledge of the window.
Mr. BALL. And the policeman was sitting where?
Mrs. MARKHAM. On the driver's side.
Mr. BALL. He was sitting behind the wheel?
Mrs. MARKHAM. Yes, sir.
Mr. BALL. Was he alone in the car?
Mrs. MARKHAM. Yes.
Mr. BALL. Then what happened?
Mrs. MARKHAM. Well, I didn't think nothing about it; you know, the police are nice and friendly, and I thought friendly conversation.
By the way, the window was NOT down as this was seen by a witness and the crime scene processor. Why would the man be talking to JDT? And, more importantly, why would JDT be talking to the man IF he thought he might be the assassin of JFK as the WC infers?
We then must ponder the last point. The man pulls out his revolver and shoots several times. Four bullets hit JDT and he dies instantly. The four hits were as follows: 3 to the chest and 1 to the head. Isn't this odd? I mean, why not just shoot him in the head? Wouldn't that be faster? Why shoot him in the chest and head? This kind of accuracy also shows that the shooter knew how to handle a revolver/pistol as well. The WC never proved that LHO was proficient with a revolver/pistol at all. How do we know that he could shoot with such accuracy? We have to take the word of the WC of course because there is no evidence to prove it. Remember, this was a trained police officer he supposedly got the jump on too.
If we go to the autopsy of JDT we see that three of the bullets traveled the same path (oddly, the path for the fourth is not described). Here it is.
texashistory.unt.edu/ark:/67531/metapth338568/m1/11/
And:
texashistory.unt.edu/ark:/67531/metapth338568/m1/23/
What we see is that in the head and two of the chest wounds the bullet traveled in an "upward, to the left and backward" motion. One of the chest wounds was a "slightly upward" motion. Why was this different from the other two? What made it be slightly upward as opposed to upward? The height of the men is important too. JDT was 5'11" and LHO was 5'9" (he was also listed as 5"10" and 5'11" too, but the is another story). LHO, if he was "the man", would have been on the curb so that should have given him a little height and brought him closer to JDT's height. So why was LHO shooting upward then? For the head we can understand, but why for the chest?
Furthermore, the positions are critical in reconstructing this, but as we have seen before JDT's body was whisked away BEFORE the crime scene unit arrived! We then do NOT know the real position of the body. Also, "the man" was leaning on the car's window ledge when JDT got out. How far did he move to shoot him? This is vital as the autopsy report said the bullet traveled to the LEFT. IF "the man" didn't move to his right a lot, how could he shoot JDT in a leftward fashion? This is why it is ridiculous that the body was moved without being processed first. Everything stated by the Dallas Police Department (DPD) and the WC is nothing but a guess at best and an outright lie at worst.
jfkconspiracyforum.freeforums.net/thread/1136/rush-move-jdts-body
JDT was a fellow police officer and this is how they treated him. It is crime scene procedure to view and photograph the body in situ and to process the scene with all information that is available, but we saw none of this with the shooting of JDT. Why?
The available evidence for the shooting, the receipt for the body and the autopsy report, do NOT support the claim the WC made that JDT was shot at "approximately 1:16 p.m." on November 22, 1963. Furthermore, a number of witnesses said that JDT was shot around 1:06 p.m. and this would fit the time of death that Methodist Hospital listed. LHO also did not arrive at his roominghouse until "about 1 p.m." per the WC. He then spent around "3 or 4 minutes" there before leaving again according to the WC. There is no way that he could have reached Tenth and Patton by 1:06 p.m. as the a number of witnesses said or even by "around 1:16 p.m." as the WC said. It was nearly a mile walk.
The JDT murder was handled as poorly as the JFK assassination. The official narrative only works in Hollywood.
