Why did Roscoe White wait until J.D. Tippit got out of the car at 10th and Patton to shoot Tippit? Why didn't White just shoot Tippit through the open car window?
Why did Tippit get out of his car?
Did White say something like "get out and let's talk to our spook boss coming down the driveway in the 2nd cop car" or "get out and let's talk with umbrella man"?
This is how i see it -- Helen Markham is about 14:00 into this video
saying:

With Markham in this video personally stating this, it takes precedence over the unsigned testimony produced by the Warren Commission for her, noting the Warren Commission admitted internally it was forging documents.
It seems the man Markham is talking about is different man than the Davis sisters (Barbara Jeanette Davis and Virginia Davis) saw cut across their lawn on the corner (catty-corner to the corner Markham was on), and Markham’s description matches Umbrella man 100%.
The Davis sisters found shells and didn't someone else see this man throw shells down? Contrary to the man Markham saw simply putting the pistol into his pants, the davis sisters nor Ted Callaway did not mention the man they saw (White) putting his pistol in his pants, though Warren Reynolds who saw White after the Davis sisters and Callaway did see White putting his gun in his pants.
Maybe White didn't get the order to kill Tippit until after White and Tippit spoke through the car window, maybe not until Tippit was out of his cop car.
It seems White would have gotten the order to kill Tippit:
- from Umbrella man, or
- via walkie talkie, or
- from one of the occupants of the 2nd cop car that came down the driveway, or
- some other person
What caused Tippit to get out of his car after speaking to White through the open window?
Did White say something like:
1. get out and let's meet in this safe house?
2. get out and let's meet with Umbrella man and/or the cops in the 2nd cop car?
3. get out of the car and help me get Oswald, he's inside that house, or on the next street over, etc.?
