One of the key pieces of evidence in the assassination of President John F. Kennedy (JFK) was the film taken by Abraham Zapruder. The Warren Commission (WC) would try and use this evidence to support their claim that Lee Harvey Oswald (LHO) was the sole assassin, but as we will see in this post that didn't go so well.
*****************************************
A big issue that the WC couldn't provide coherent clarity on was when JFK was first stricken with a bullet. This is VERY important because there was tree foliage blocking the view of the presidential limousine from the alleged Sniper's Nest (SN) in the Texas School Book Depository (TSBD) Building between frames 166 to 210 of the Zapruder film. This was a major stumbling block for the WC as this eliminated the window they claimed LHO was at for a key period of time.
The WC determined that every second was equivalent to 18.3 frames of the Zapruder film, thus, nearly 2.5 seconds were wasted to an assassin if they were positioned in the SN. This means that the assassin would have passed up the best shot possible, when the limousine was on Houston Street, and now they would have lost the opportunity when the limousine was the closest to them, after it turned onto Elm Street, to fire a shot. What kind of assassin would pick a situation like this if they really wanted to succeed?
This reality forces the WC to write the following in their report.

…Thus, the evidence indicated that the President was not hit until at least Frame 210 and that he was probably hit by Frame 225. The possibility of variations in reaction time in addition to the obstruction of Zapruder's view by the sign precluded a more specific determination than that the President was probably shot through the neck between Frames 210 and 225… (WCR, p.105)

This is claiming that Zapruder's view was blocked by the Stemmons Freeway sign between many of the frames that the tree foliage would have been blocking the assassin’s view in the SN, thus, it allowed the WC to conveniently claim that the first shot didn't happen until frame 210 at the earliest which just happens to coincide with the frame that the limousine would have cleared the tree foliage. It would seem that the magic wasn't just confined to Commission Exhibit (CE) 399.
The problem with the WC's claim is it is in direct opposition to what Zapruder himself testifies to before the WC.
Mr. LIEBELER - And it proceeded then down Elm Street toward the triple underpass; is that correct?
Mr. ZAPRUDER - That's correct. I started shooting--when the motorcade started coming in, I believe I started and wanted to get it coming in from Houston Street.
Mr. LIEBELER - Tell us what happened as you took these pictures.
Mr. ZAPRUDER - Well, as the car came in line almost--I believe it was almost in line. I was standing up here and I was shooting through a telephoto lens, which is a zoom lens and as it reached about—I imagine it was around here--I heard the first shot and I saw the President lean over and grab himself like this (holding his left chest area).
Mr. LIEBELER - Grab himself on the front of his chest?
Mr. ZAPRUDER - Right---something like that. In other words, he was sitting like this and waving and then after the shot he just went like that.
It would have been nice if the WC lawyer had clarified what “around here" meant in correlation to the limousine’s position when he heard the first shot fired, but the WC only did this to witnesses that didn't support the WC's claims. This means that Zapruder was seeing JFK reacting to the shot before the limousine went behind the sign and the view of the assassin in the SN would still have been blocked by the tree foliage. This means that the shot had to come from another location and that means a conspiracy.
Once again we see the actual evidence disputes the WC's claims, therefore, their conclusion is sunk again.
