This is a great point by Gil Jesus. He wrote this in October 2010. I think that a few of these people did have information regarding the assassination of President John F. Kennedy (JFK) though. I will elaborate on this after his comments.

The Commission refused to bring to Washington the most important living witness in the Kennedy assassination, the alleged assassin's murderer, Jack Ruby. This refusal was in spite of Ruby's plea that he had something to tell but he couldn't tell it in Dallas.
Here is a list of the witnesses who DID get to go to Washington to testify before the Commission and who had no evidence regarding the assassination of President Kennedy.
James Herbert Martin
Katherine Ford
Declan P. Ford
Peter Paul Gregory
Kerry Thornley
Mrs. Donald Gibson ( Alexandra DeMohrenschildt )
William Kirk Stuckey
Priscilla Johnson
Curtis LaVerne Crafard
George Senator
Nancy Perrin Rich
Earl Ruby
Hyman Rubenstein
William D. Crowe, Jr.
Marjorie R. Richey
George William Fehrenbach
Ike Pappas
Seth Kantor
John G. McCullough
Lawrence V. Myers
Professor Revilo Pendleton Oliver
All of the above people, none of whom had any information or evidence relevant to the assassination of JFK, were brought to Washington to testify before the Commission.
But the most important living witness was not allowed to.

I agree with Gil's main point, but the names that I have bolded could have had information regarding the conspiracy that took JFK's life.
Kerry Thornley, a USMC friend of Lee Harvey Oswald's (LHO), might have been impersonating LHO in New Orleans. It would have been interesting to see what an honest investigation would have discovered about him.
Larry Crafard also might have been impersonating LHO, but he would have been doing it in Dallas. He worked for Jack Ruby in the weeks leader up to the assassination and fled Dallas the day after the assassination. He should have been treated as a suspect.
George Senator was Jack Ruby's roommate. He was privy to a discussion that included Ruby and three other men. They all wound up dead. How could he not be of interest to an honest investigation?
Ruby should have been brought to Washington, but some of the people on this list had information that should have been extracted and published, but wasn't. The Warren Commission's handling of Ruby shows us clearly that they were not interested in the truth.
