The Warren Commission (WC) claimed that Lee Harvey Oswald (LHO) shot and killed President John F. Kennedy (JFK) and Dallas Police Officer J.D. Tippit (JDT) on November 22, 1963. We know this by now.
What some people might not know is that the Dallas Police Department (DPD) made the SAME claim BEFORE LHO was even arrested!
*****************************************
Why did LHO’s arrest report show a time of 1:40 p.m. when he was NOT arrested until 1:51 p.m. and an address they did KNOW as of that time?
Here is the arrest report for your review—Commission Exhibit (CE) 2003, p. 105/247:

We know from the police transcripts the DPD did NOT supposedly know the name of the suspect they thought was in the Texas Theater (TT) (in the balcony ironically), so how could they start an arrest report on LHO at 1:40 p.m.?

35—They got a SUSPECT hiding in the BALCONY of the Texas Theatre on West Jefferson. I’ll be out.
44—I’ll be enroute. (CE 705, p. 379) (Emphasis added)

It doesn’t say, “we got Lee Harvey Oswald” in the balcony of the TT so how did they know to fill in his name on the arrest report? Also notice that as of 1:40 pm. (just an hour and seven minutes after LHO left the Texas School Book Depository (TSBD)) they KNOW LHO is the man that shot and killed JFK and JDT, and also the man who shot and wounded Governor John B. Connally (JBC). How in the world could they know this at this point?
Another important point that shows a frame up was in play is the ADDRESS on the arrest report! How did they know LHO lived at 1026 N. Beckley at 1:40 p.m.? They didn’t and Captain Will Fritz’ testimony shows us this.
Mr. BALL. Was there anything said about where he lived?
Mr. FRITZ. Where he lived? Right at that time?
Mr. BALL. Yes.
Mr. FRITZ. I am sure I had no way of asking him where he lived but I am not too sure about that--just how quick he told me because he corrected me, I thought he lived in Irving and he told me he didn't live in Irving. He lived on Beckley as the officer had told me outside.
Mr. BALL. Did you ask him anything about his address or did he volunteer the address?
Mr. FRITZ. Well, I will tell you, whether we asked him or told him one, he never did deny it, he never did deny the Beckley Street address at all. The only thing was he didn't know whether it was north or south.
You’ll notice all this discovery discussion of the N. Beckley address is when LHO is ALREADY IN CUSTODY. Fritz first says LHO admitted the address, but then says “…whether we asked him or told him one, he never did deny it, he never did deny the Beckley Street address at all..” How did they learn of this address for the arrest report or to “tell him” when they did know he lived there? Even Fritz said TSBD superintendent Roy Truly said LHO lived in Irving, Texas.
Mr. BALL. While you were there Mr. Truly came up to you?
Mr. FRITZ. Yes, sir; where the rifle was found. That was about the time we finished Mr. Truly came and told me that one of his employees had left the building, and I asked his name and he gave me his name, Lee Harvey Oswald, and I asked his address and he gave me the Irving address.
The “Irving” address is for the Paine’s house and NOT his N. Beckley room. Fritz did mention a “police officer” who seemed to know his address before the DPD officially discovered it, but it was NEVER found out who this person was. Why not?
Mr. BALL. Yes. What did you do after you had sent the officers to Irving?
Mr. FRITZ. When I started to talk to this prisoner or maybe just before I started to talk to him, some officer told me outside of my office that he had a room on Beckley, I don't know who that officer was, I think we can find out, I have since I have talked to you this morning I have talked to Lieutenant Baker and he says I know maybe who that officer was, but I am not sure yet.
Mr. BALL. Some officer told you that he thought this man had a room on Beckley?
Mr. FRITZ. Yes, sir.
It was NEVER determined who this “officer” was so we don’t know how this person knew AHEAD OF TIME where LHO’s room was when the rest of the DPD did not seem to know where he lived. LHO had nothing on him when he was arrested that would have given them this address (and even IF he did, how does that explain the knowledge of where he lived BEFORE he was arrested?) to them so that is not an answer to this question. There is NO way officially that they should have KNOWN about the N. Beckley address at 1:40 p.m.
Finally, notice the place of the arrest is listed as 231 W. Jeffereson Theatre. Again, how did the writer of this arrest report KNOW LHO would be arrested at the TT at 1:40 p.m.? Furthermore, how could they know that some man acting “suspiciously” (as described by a shoe salesman) and who may not have paid his $.75 cents for a movie ticket was the man they claimed MURDERED JFK and JDT?
Can any WC defender explain any of this to me? How did they KNOW all this at 1:40 p.m.?
We again see evidence that does not support the WC's conclusion, thus, it is sunk.
