This post in the series is a short one and comes to us via a Warren Commission (WC) member—Gerald Ford. He says something that is very important.

Here is what Gerald Ford said about the WC and the conclusion they reached.

I think you’d have to read very carefully what the Warren Commission said, and I as a member of the Warren Commission helped to participate in the drafting of the language…We said that the Commission had found no evidence of a conspiracy, foreign or domestic…But the Commission was right when it made its determinations and it was accurate at least to this point and I want to reemphasize that as to the evidence that we saw.

Let’s look at it again with bolding in red to see the key point he made.

It is much more clear now. Ford said the Commission “drafted the language it used” very carefully. He said it reads, “The Commission had found NO evidence of a conspiracy, foreign or domestic”, but this was based on the EVIDENCE they viewed and counted, NOT all the evidence that was either presented or that was out there to find.
He again said that it was accurate to say there was NO conspiracy based on the evidence they SAW. That does NOT mean NO conspiracy occurred as the WC defenders claim. How much evidence did they NOT see or did NOT find?
Ford himself sinks the WC conclusion because it was based on a limited foundation as they ignored, denied and did NOT find much evidence (i.e. calling eyewitnesses).
