The Warren Commission (WC) claimed that Lee Harvey Oswald (LHO) assassinated President John F. Kennedy (JFK) all by himself on November 22, 1963. They further claimed that he did NOT know his killer, Jack Ruby, at all as many critics have claimed since November 24, 1963.
I have done an article on Mary Bledsoe for my "Statements That Sink The WC's Conclusions" series, but I did not address this issue, therefore, I will address it outside of the series since there is doubt about this event having happened.
To me, it could show that some of the conspirators were using Bledsoe's and the 1026 North Beckley Ave. rooming houses in the months/weeks leading up to the assassination. I will admit, IF it did happen it was NOT involving the LHO who was killed in Dallas (it could have been "Lee") as I have shown there is absolutely no proof that he ever stayed at Bledsoe's rooming house as the WC claimed he did.
Bledsoe was the sole witness (WC "star witness") for its claim that LHO took a bus after he left the Texas School Book Depository (TSBD) Building following the assassination of JFK. No other witness could be found to say that they saw LHO. Initially, the bus driver, Cecil McWatters, did, but that was quickly recanted as he was talking about a teenager by the name of Milton Jones. In short, without Bledsoe they could NOT put LHO on the bus and this meant they could NOT show how he would get to the rooming house that he was allegedly staying at which was located at 1026 North Beckley Ave. (Supposedly he took a cab after leaving this bus which was headed BACK to the TSBD.)
The only evidence that she claimed existed of LHO's stay at her rooming house was a calendar that she used to keep track of her guests. Unfortunately for the WC, the page LHO was supposedly on in the calendar had been sold by her son. I have covered this before, but here is the relevant portion from her WC testimony.

Mr. BALL - What did he say?
Mrs. BLEDSOE - His name was Oswald, and he put it on this thing, and my son took it and sold it.
So we see he didn't use his alias, but instead would leave a trail with his real name according to her. What about his OTHER alias, you know the one, O.H. Lee, the ONLY one listed on the DPD arrest paperwork on November 22, 1963? Why NOT use that one? What kind of anonymity could he expect if he kept using his real name? Seems to me NONE, and this goes against the claims of him planning this assassination for some time.
Look at the second part that is underlined. The "thing" in question is a calendar and was used by Bledsoe to show who rented her rooms.

The WC and the FBI spent no time looking for this sold calendar page that supposedly showed that LHO stayed at Bledsoe's rooming house. Why? Without this, there was NO evidence for him staying there beyond her word.
Also, notice that that LHO supposedly continually used his real last name. He would supposedly do this at the 1026 North Beckley Ave. rooming house as well. Why would he use his real name when he allegedly had created an alias (Alek Hidell) according to the WC? Does any of this make any sense?
A document was found that supposedly would have given credence to Bledsoe's claim, but the WC never used it. I have posted it at the top of this article. It is a general offense report from the Dallas Police Department (DPD) and it is dated October 11, 1963. This was just days before LHO would get a job at the TSBD.
Ironically enough the DPD officers who responded to this issue (if you believe it is real) were J.C. White and B.A. Hargis. J.C. White would be in Dealey Plaza (DP) on November 22, 1963, and there was a B.W. Hargis there as well. Was this a typo or another Hargis on the DPD? Neither one was asked about Bledsoe in their WC testimonies (if it was the Bobby Hargis in the motorcade).
The report displays "Thurs. 10-11-63", but the eleventh was a Friday and not a Thursday in 1963. The assassination was on November 22 and that was a Friday. Simply count backwards to the eleventh. The report also does show the date of "10-12-63" at the bottom. Perhaps, if this is genuine, the mention of Thursday was a simple mistake. We certainly see a lot of mistakes by the DPD in the assassination reports, so this is a possibility.
The time of the report is 11:40 p.m. (it was supposedly called in at 11:30) and it goes to 12:20 a.m. This is why the report shows both October 11 and October 12 on it. The mistake was listing Thursday as it was really Friday/Saturday instead. The report lists the offense as "Disturbing the peace."
The culprits are a Jack A. or K. Rubenstein, H.H. Grant and an Alek Hidel. Let's start with Rubenstein (and keep in mind, this report is really hard to read). The report list Rubenstein as being born on what looks like 2/11/39. He wasn't. He was born on March 25, 1911. They list his height as 5'9", his weight as 189 pounds, brown eyes and brown hair. The autopsy report notes that Jack Ruby was 5'8" tall and between 145 and 150 pounds. His middle name was Leon so why would an "A" or "K" be listed? Was this the real Ruby? Apparently not.
The details for "Alek Hidel" (spelled incorrectly as it is Hidell) are 1922 (DOB), 5'11", 145 pounds, brown eyes and brown hair. The LHO killed was born in October 1939, was 5'9", weighed about 150 pounds and was brown eyed in some reports while being listed as blue/gray/hazel in others, and he did have brown hair. At first one could think they inverted the dates for Rubenstein and Hidel, but Ruby wasn't born in 1922. Neither weighed 189 pounds either.
H.H. Grant was born in 1932, was 5'11", weighed 180 pounds, had brown eyes and hair. In my opinion, none of these names are who these men would have been IF this is a real report.
The issue was a fight. Here is what the alleged report shows about the incident.

Mrs. Bledsoe, owner of rooming house, reported a scuffle going on in one of her rooms, one she just rented earlier in the week to a Mr. O.H. Lee. After the arrests of the suspects below, Mrs. Bledsoe identified one of the men as her roomer, Mr. Lee. His name was actually Alek Hidel. When confronted with his identification cards and mail addressed to him, Mrs. Bledsoe said she was not sure if he was the roomer or not. When brought into downtown headquarters, the complainant again changed her story concerning how the fight began and so all suspects were released pending further investigation. It seems a fight broke out over something and there was damage to the television set, bed and chairs in the room. The estimated damage cost was $50.00.
IF this is a real report it would shake the JFK research community. It has been debated since it surfaced a few years ago (at least that is when I first heard about it). To me, the value is not in showing a relationship between Ruby and LHO as we already have a lot of legitimate evidence showing this. You can see this article for one example of this.
jfkconspiracyforum.freeforums.net/thread/1690/statements-sink-wcs-conclusions-481
No, the real benefit of this alleged report would be in showing how the possible conspirators were the ones staying at Bledsoe's (and 1026 North Beckley Avenue rooming house) as both LHO and Ruby would NOT mess up their personal data so much. Furthermore, we see a repeated pattern of LHO using "O.H. Lee" at these rooming houses supposedly when the WC claimed he made up the "Alek Hidell" alias. Why would you keep using your real last name when you supposedly created an alias?
And then, why would he spell the alleged alias incorrectly? Or did the DPD just hear it incorrectly?
I think these were some of the conspirators and this is why Bledsoe was so quick to change her story as she may have either become afraid about calling the police on them or they had threatened her. Nothing else explains why she would go from being sure it was "O.H. Lee" and then say she wasn't sure and then eventually change her story yet again when she reached the DPD headquarters.
Why would the WC ignore this report IF it is genuine? I can hear WC defenders say that is why it isn't genuine, but is that the truth? They could have ignored it because while it substantiated Bledsoe's claim that LHO stayed at her rooming house, it also opens the door to conspiracy as we see Ruby mixing with LHO and "Alek Hidell." It also leads to the question of why she thought he was O.H. Lee when LHO said the woman at the 1026 North Beckley Avenue rooming house just listed that because she misunderstood his name.
What are the odds of two rooming house women misunderstanding his name in the same way? And, of course, it leads to the question of why he was using this name when he had an alias to use.
IF we look at the descriptions this also brings up more questions as neither matches LHO or Ruby. Who were these people? Who was staying at the other rooming house causing issues there as well?
jfkconspiracyforum.freeforums.net/thread/1636/statements-sink-wcs-conclusions-473
It seems like the same kind of rough behavior to me. I know many have already dismissed this document as being fake, but what would be the purpose of faking this? Sure, it could be to show a tie between Ruby and LHO, but that has already been established over the years as there are the Carousel Club sightings of Oswald. Ruby also knew about LHO's silly one-man Fair Play for Cuba Committee (FPCC) chapter as he corrected District Attorney Henry Wade on the name at the midnight press conference on November 23, 1963. How would Ruby know about this IF he didn't know Oswald?
I have also done articles on how Ruby stalked LHO during the whole weekend of the assassination. Ruby also knew Bertha Cheek, Earlene Roberts' sister, since 1948 when he tried to secure a $12,000 dollar investment in one of his clubs. How convenient that the woman who supposedly rented LHO a room at the 1026 North Beckley Avenue rooming house would have a sister who knew Ruby for fifteen years. Ruby also lived close by as well.
pbs.twimg.com/media/Fu5JKhjWwAQxPWk.jpg
IF this is a legitimate report, what further investigation took place after these suspects were released? Apparently, nothing happened.
A final reason this had to be hidden IF it was genuine is it would show that the DPD had LHO at their headquarters just 5 weeks before the assassination and they failed to follow up on this. Since LHO was not a drinker of alcohol we can't blame that for why he would get into a fight late at night either.
This is one of those that you will have to decide for yourselves whether this is something genuine or not (that is why I didn't put it in my series). It is interesting nonetheless.
