The Warren Commission (WC) said Lee Harvey Oswald (LHO) fired three shots and received no help from anyone in doing it. Really? As we have seen in numerous other posts in this series there have been ample warnings, sightings and comments regarding hearing about the assassination BEFORE it happened.
Here is another account of this happening. This is the story of Private First Class (PFC.) Eugen Dinkin and there is NO way this story could have come about IF only one “lone, deranged, malcontent” was planning the assassination all by himself.
This is presented for your review and consideration.
*********************************************
Eugene Dinkin was assigned to the 529th Ordnance Company in Metz, France. He was in the U.S. Army and possessed a crypto clearance. This is one of the HIGHEST you can have, thus, suffice it to say he saw a lot of high-level clearance information in his time in this role. It is said this type of clearance can make you part of the National Security Agency (NSA) which is the CIA’s Top-Secret telecommunications counterpart.
This story could not be told for a long time (until 1976) as the documents that contained this material were kept from us in the form of “Commission Documents” (CD). In 1976 parts of the documents that pertain to this issue became public knowledge. The best coverage of this topic, IMO, can be found in Dick Russell’s “The Man Who Knew Too Much” (TMWKTM) as he gives a good bit of coverage to this. Part of the CD in question had a FBI report dated April 3, 1964, in it and it recounted the prediction of Dinkin. It went like this:
Quote on
Several weeks before the assassination Dinkin had a projection “that a conspiracy was in the making by the ‘Military’ of the United States, perhaps combined with an ‘ultra-right economic group’.” (WCD 1107)

Of course these groups have been looked into extensively over the years and many researchers feel both, or parts of both, were involved in the conspiracy to murder John F. Kennedy (JFK). According to declassified CIA files, Dinkin’s warning was KNOWN to a number of people before November 22, 1963. Dinkin claimed he wrote a letter to Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy (RFK) on October 22, 1963. He said the following about it.
Quote on
I did offer in this letter a warning that an attempt to assassinate President Kennedy would occur on November 28, 1963, that if it were to succeed, blame would be placed on a COMMUNIST OR A NEGRO, who would be the DESIGNATED assassin; and believing the conspiracy was being engineered by elements of the Military, I did speculate that a military coup might ensue. I did request of the Attorney General that he dispatch a representative of the Justice Department to Metz, France to discuss this warning…
www.maryferrell.org/mffweb/archive/viewer/showDoc.do?docId=8407&relPageId=2
Quote off
Dinkin realized that his letter to RFK had an “extremely minimal…probability of…coming into the direct attention of the Attorney General.” This realization caused him to leave his unit and try and find another way to get his warning back to the U.S. and the President. He went into Luxembourg to try and make contact with certain European Ambassadors, but to no avail as none of them were interested in his warning.
Notice how he said the blame would be placed on a Communist (i.e. LHO allegedly) or a Negro. Didn’t many witnesses see a Negro in the window? This is a part that is hard to dismiss out of hand.
Ironically, and I say this because some researchers have said Israel was involved in the assassination, the ONLY one that would speak with him was the Israeli Ambassador to Luxembourg and he gave Dinkin some advice on how to proceed. Dinkin said the following about this.
Quote on
At the U.S. Embassy I was interviewed by the Charge d’ Affaires Mr. [first name unknown] Cunningham, who told me that the Ambassador was playing tennis and was therefore unavailable. I did relate to Mr. Cunningham that I had information indicative of a political assassination to occur in late November in the United States, and he then did guarantee to convey this message to Ambassador [FNU] Rivkin, who would notify me at my military base of an appointment.
Quote off
A week would pass and he heard nothing about an appointment with the Ambassador. One can understand why they did not want to deal with folks that were a little out there, but surely the Charges d’Affaires could tell he was NOT kooky and given his job with the military (crypto) he should have been heard by someone. Especially when the topic of assassination is brought up. Why did NO one contact him?
Dinkin would explain further.
Quote on
I did however learn through the military grapevine that I was to be locked up as a psychotic. I did on November 2nd, 1963 obtain a signed and officially stamped leave permit from the commanding officer of Metz General Depot, and when summoned back to the CO’s office to be told that the leave was cancelled, having concealed the signed form, I then did tear up a blank form. That evening I left Metz, France by train and used the signed leave permit to gain entry to Switzerland on the morning of November 3rd, 1963.

Dinkin of course went AWOL (Absent Without Leave) from his unit. His story is long, but in a nutshell he went to Geneva, Switzerland, to find a US journalist. He went to the U.N. press office and when he failed to find a US journalist he spoke with the owner-operator of the “Geneva Diplomat.” We know he did this because Richard Helms of the CIA prepared a document for the WC in 1964 and we see this in it.

As can be seen the CIA deleted his name from the view of the WC, but this shows that at least someone at the CIA knew “immediately after the assassination” of Dinkin’s prediction that was made TWO WEEKS BEFORE 11/22/63. The CIA file continued with this.

Around 26 November 1963, after President Kennedy had been assassinated, a Geneva journalist named Alex des Fontaines, stringer for Time-Life and correspondent for Radio Canada, was reported to be filing a story to the Paris office of Time-Life recounting Private [deleted] visit to Geneva and quoting [deleted] as having said that “they” were plotting against President Kennedy and that “something” would happen in Texas…

Again, his name was deleted. This shows he did pass on his warning to someone at least. He then left Switzerland on November 6, 1963, and headed for Germany. He headed for Bonn where the next afternoon,

I decided that the only remaining alternative would be to return to Metz General Depot and try to deceive the authorities with a story that I had been successful in attending a “political matter” in Switzerland. Upon my return to Metz, France on the evening of November 8th, 1963, I did maintain this line with CIC [Army Counterintelligence Corps] and officer Mr. [FNU] McNair, who had been assigned to conduct the investigation [into Dinkin’s disappearance]. I was then notified that I was under arrest and spent the next five days in the depot jail.
On November 13th, 1963, I was “hospitalized” at Landstuhl General Hospital in a closed psychiatric ward and was kept virtually incommunicado for approximately one week.

Why was NO one at least interested in hearing this story? If he was a cook and came up with this story one might consider him in need of rest, but he was a CRYPTO OPERATOR WHO SAW TOP SECRET INFORMATION ALL THE TIME! Why would one leap to the conclusion he was in need of “psychiatric” help all of a sudden?
On the evening after the assassination he was still in the hospital when he says he was visited:

…by a gentleman claiming to be a “Secret Service agent” who had flown to Europe to interview me regarding the letter written to the Attorney General. He asked the following questions and my answers were as follows:
(1) “Do you believe it was the Right or the Left?”
Answer: “The Right.”
(2) “Why was the date changed from November 28th to November 22nd?”
Answer: “I knew of no exact date and gave November 28th as an approximate date.”
I then informed the gentleman that under the circumstances of being locked up in a psychiatric ward I would give the government absolutely no information.
Upon being transferred on December 5th, 1963 to Walter Reed Hospital in Washington, D.C. I began receiving “therapy” to help me understand that my warning of the assassination had been “coincidental” and represented a projection of hostility towards authority figures in my family and a displacement of my internal conflicts about inability to adjust to military life. In order to “get well” I was to understand that in approaching European ambassadors I was “really looking for attention and assistance to obtain psychiatric treatment.”…I was led to understand that if my condition did not improve that I could be treated with ECT [electric shock treatment], and I consequently feigned cooperation and understanding of my unfortunate condition [schizo-assassination prognostication] and pretended to participate in group therapy and pharmacological treatment …
I was given an injection of a strong drug which left me dazed and was then introduced to a “psychologist from Case Institute of Cleveland” and told that he was conducting a research project requiring my cooperation. I was then required to free associate to a list of words while a tape recorder was in process of recording…

As Dick Russell asks, was Dinkin’s “treatment” meant to alter or nullify what he may have known in advance about the assassination? The first person to uncover this story was Jim Garrison during his prosecution of Clay Shaw. Garrison’s people spoke with others who worked with Dinkin and they began to piece together what he did in the Army. One of Dinkin’s major duties as a CODEBREAKER was to decode traffic originating with the French OAS!
This group too has been mentioned by some researchers as having ties to the assassination in regards to names like Christian David, Lucien Sarti, Jean Souetre, a.k.a. Michael Mertz, a.k.a. Michael Roux, the “French Connection”, etc…
It was said that Dinkin did this for “attention”, but since NO president had been shot in sixty two years wasn’t this a silly way to get it? Furthermore, what kind of attention did he get for it? It would seem ONLY bad came from this for him.
In 1964 the FBI would interview Dinkin and he would tell them that he “pieced the story together from reading several newspapers, including the “Stars and Stripes”, and then made “psychological sets” from them as an exercise.” He would tell them this how he made the prediction involving JFK, NOT through his cypto work, but as we can see from his experience in Walter Reed Hospital it is likely he would have said anything to avoid more of that. Here is the document that goes over this in detail.

What do you think? Could this be all a coincidence? If predicting the JFK assassination made you “kooky”, why was Jeane Dixon NOT put in a psychiatric ward?

Dixon reportedly predicted the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. In the May 13, 1956, issue of Parade Magazine she wrote that the 1960 presidential election would be "dominated by labor and won by a Democrat" who would then go on to "Be assassinated or die in office though not necessarily in his first term."

I think the way Dinkin was treated has given credence to Dinkin’s story as if he had really nothing to say and was just seeking “fame” (sound familiar?) do you think he would have been treated so harshly?
Again, the claim made by the WC is sunk as there is NO way Dinkin, or anyone else, would be picking up “chatter” about the killing of JFK IF he was a lone nut as they claimed.
