The Warren Commission (WC) claimed that Lee Harvey Oswald (LHO) assassinated President John F. Kennedy (JFK), wounded Govenor John B. Connally (JBC), killed Dallas Police Officer J.D. Tippit (JDT), and fired a shot at Edwin A. Walker (EAW).
As we have seen in this long running series they put forth zero evidence for showing that he committed any of these crimes. The WC published twenty-six volumes of evidence and none of it supports their claims regarding these crimes.
This post is going to look at an odd tidbit that was never explored by the WC, Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) or Secret Service (SS). It is up to each of you to decide for yourselves how relevant this tidbit is.
This tidbit was reported on by Penn Jones, Jr. in his book “Forgive My Grief Vol. 4”. I have not read about this anywhere else, but some people claim that this man was not a studious researcher.

On April 23, 1963, Vice President Lyndon B. Johnson (LBJ) visited Dallas, Texas, and made a round of appearances including a press conference at the Dallas Times Herald (DTH).
During this press conference LBJ predicted that the president would visit the city of Dallas later in the year and that this visit would include a luncheon.
Later in the day LBJ spoke with 2,000 business and civic leaders at the Crystal Ball Room at the Baker Hotel. During this speech he said the following odd thing.
Quote on
He said the President of the United States is like a pilot and the election is when the nation picks an airplane and a pilot for the next four years.
COMMON DANGER
“Once you pick him, and you’re flying across the water in bad weather, don't go up and open the door and try to knock him in the head. He's the only pilot you have and if the plane goes down, you go with it.
At least wait until next November until you shoot him down.” (DTH, April 24, 1963, p. 22; Penn Jones, Jr., “Forgive My Grief, Vol. IV, p. 2)

This appeared in the DTH so there is no denying that he said this. Since this was said in April 1963 the NEXT November was in 1963, but 1963 was NOT an election year! So what was his meaning regarding “shooting him [JFK] down” next November?
Was his analogy regarding “bad weather” an indictment of JFK's policies? If JFK had not been assassinated on November 22, 1963, this could be construed as simple political rhetoric, but of course this isn't the case.
Was LBJ sending out a message that he was on board with the removal of JFK? Obviously it would be vital to have the new president in the fold if a conspiracy and cover-up were to be successful.
There aren't many ways to take this comment since JFK was shot down in Dallas on November 22, 1963. What do you think? If no conspiracy and cover-up was at work LBJ should have been questioned about this, but he wasn't.
We again see evidence that calls into question the official conclusion, thus, it is sunk again.
