The Warren Commission (WC) claimed that Lee Harvey Oswald (LHO) assassinated President John F. Kennedy (JFK) all by himself on November 22, 1963. They were clear in saying that he received assistance from no one else in the planning or execution of the assassination.
If that is true, why are there so many examples of foreknowledge of the assassination? We have already seen so many examples of foreknowledge and some type of knowledge regarding the assassination in this series before. We will look at a few more in this article.

Here is an account of a man saying that he was told that JFK would be assassinated two weeks before he was.

On November 26, Mr. MONROE N. WEST... and his wife personally contacted the Las Vegas Office to advise that on this day while in conversation with Mr. EARL HARVEY... regarding the assassination of President KENNEDY, HARVEY said he had received a letter about three weeks ago from a Dr. JOSEPH JEFFREY (ph)... saying that President KENNEDY would be assassinated. Mr. WEST was so astounded by the statement he did not look at the letter. WEST said HARVEY is about 76 years old, very religious and eccentric; however, he has known him over five years and HARVEY is not the type of individual to make up stories . (CD 39, p. 6)

This letter would be very interesting and important information if it contained what Mr. West said it did. Why didn't the FBI follow-up on this lead and obtained the letter in question? We know that they didn't because this is on the last page of the report.
Why did the FBI show NO interest in a lead that may have shown foreknowledge of the assassination? I think that the answer is obvious – it simply would not support the lone assassin narrative their boss, Director J. Edgar Hoover (JEH), had arrived at already.
On the same page of the report, we see another interesting item.

JIM STALAKER, employee of the “Las Vegas Sun”, a daily Las Vegas newspaper, telephonically advised on November 27, 1963, that he had received a telephone call from an unknown individual who stated that he had been in Dallas, Texas, some two weeks before the assassination of President KENNEDY. This individual, according to STALAKER, said OSWALD was friend of his and that when he first saw OSWALD he looked very afraid. This unknown individual further advised STALAKER that OSWALD had told him that someone was trying to frame him. This individual told STALAKER to pass this information on to the FBI; however, according to STALAKER when he tried to get this individual to identify himself he hung up.
STALAKER advised that in his opinion this individual’s voice sounded sober, approximately in his mid-twenties, and that he did not sound like a “nut”. (Ibid.)

Who could this friend of LHO's have been? Again, why didn't the FBI even attempt to locate this individual? How many people could have been in Dallas two weeks before the assassination that knew LHO enough to be a friend? Further, since he contacted the Las Vegas Sun, he must have lived in that area. Surely with all the resources at the disposal of the FBI they could have located this individual. At the very least they could have attempted to try and find him.
Another interesting item is in regard to the assassination is as follows.

On November 22,1963, MIKE FLOURNOY, Sheriff Wharton County, Wharton, Texas, telephonically advised that shortly after the assassination of President KENNEDY, a telegram had been sent from El Campo, Texas to one TURNER BALLAD, 1420 Savoy Street, Dallas, Texas. This telegram was as follows: “Thank God, did you do it?” The telegram was signed Nancy. The telegram was reported to have been sent from telephone number LI 3-4666 at El Campo, Texas. (CE 14, p. 3)

The Chief of Police for El Campo, Texas, Walter Broadus, traced the number to a C.A. Starlin, but no one at his house was named “Nancy” or “Nanny”. The Sheriff received this information from Western Union. Mrs. C.A. Starlin did go by “Niny” however, so she was interviewed on November 24, 1963.

Mrs. STARLIN readily admitted that after hearing of the assassination of President KENNEDY at Dallas on November 22, 1963, she had sent a telegram to her uncle, TURNER BALLARD, at Dallas. Mrs. STARLIN acknowledged this message contained the message, “Thank God, you did it.” Mrs. STARLIN stated this telegram made reference to the assassination of President KENNEDY but that she was merely attempting to be facetious, which she later realized was in extremely bad taste and she regretted having sent it. (Ibid., p.4)

Who sends a message like this even if it was meant in a joking manner? Western Union was like today's email or social media as all telegrams can be traced.
Here is something from Western Union about this telegram.

She then gives us some details on her uncle.
Quote on
Mrs. STARLIN stated her uncle, TURNER BALLARD, is a man about 65 years of age who retired from the Federal Reserve Bank…did not own a gun, was not a radical and would harm no-one. Mrs. STARLIN related that both she and her uncle had been against the KENNEDY administration but that she certainly did not want to see the President murdered and she was sure that her uncle did not approve of this crime either.
Mrs. STARLIN advised that TURNER BALLARD...was a retired employee of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas since sometime last year. She stated that he had been employed by the Federal Reserve Bank practically all of his life…Mrs. STARLIN further advised that quite often on weekends, BALLARD would go to Fort Worth, Texas, and stay at some unknown hotel just to get away from his home and for some relaxation.
Mrs. STARLIN advised that that she and her uncle were against the KENNEDY administration. They had often discussed the policies carried on by this administration. She stated, however, that neither she nor her uncle were a radical and that she did not believe that BALLARD would harm anyone and that she did not know it if he had ever had a gun in his hand. (Ibid., pp. 4-5)

This is interesting stuff. Her uncle, the person that she had sent the “Thank God, you did it” telegram to, had spent practically his entire adult life in the employ of the Federal Reserve Bank system. For those that don't know, JFK had issues with the Federal Reserve and even authorized the printing of U. S. Notes in June 1963.
Could this be some of the reason Mrs. Starlin and her uncle had issues with the Kennedy administration? She kept saying that they were not radicals, but do radicals think of themselves as radicals? Probably not.
She said that her uncle would harm no one and that he she didn't know if he had ever had a gun in his hand. First of all, this doesn't mean that he had never had a gun in his hand just that she had no knowledge of having done so. Secondly, this doesn't preclude him from having hired someone or just making a payment to someone.
She sent him a telegram saying, “Thank God, YOU did it” for goodness' sake. I don't buy that this was meant as a joke either. Other than an extreme radical or a totally off-balanced person, who would send a telegram like this shortly after the assassination of a president?
The FBI saw no need to interview Turner Ballard. Why not? Look at all the meaningless things that they took the time to do, but interview Turner Ballard was too much for them to get to I suppose. We do know that he took off from his home shortly before the assassination.
Quote on
Mr. STANLEY A. ROBERTS... advised he casually acquainted with Mr. TURNER BALLARD, the resident in the house immediately adjacent to him at 1420 Savoy. Mr. ROBERTS stated the present whereabouts of BALLARD is unknown to him, noting he had not observed BALLARD at this residence for the past two or three days. (CD 301, p. 24; p. 1 in original)

How interesting that he disappeared or took vacation just before the assassination. The neighbor seemed to know him well enough to be told about a vacation I would think, but he had no idea where he was. What was the big secret?
Why did the WC show no interest in this or any of the other things in this article? Can any WC defender explain this or provide information on these leads?
We again see evidence that was ignored by the FBI and the WC; thus, their conclusion cannot be correct since it was reached without a complete picture of what actually happened. Therefore, it is sunk again.
