IF the Warren Commission (WC) was so concerned with finding the truth about who killed President John F. Kennedy (JFK), why did they ignore so many good witnesses who told stories that did NOT fit the preconceived idea of a lone shooter?
Two of these witnesses are discussed in Jim Marrs' famous book (and one of the best IMO) about the assassination, "Crossfire: The Plot That Killed Kennedy" (CTPTKK). What is interesting about these witnesses is that they worked with the WC's "star witness" Howard Brennan so it makes it even more suspicious that they were NOT interviewed at the very least.

A.J. Millican was a co-worker of Howard Brennan and he told authorities on November 22, 1963, that he was standing on the north side of Elm Street and that he had NO difficulty in determining where the shots came from. He was standing about halfway between Houston and the Triple Underpass. He said he noticed "a truck from Honest Joe's Pawn Shop park near the Texas School Book Depository (TSBD), and then drive off about five to ten minutes before the motorcade arrived." He told Sheriff Deputies:

Just after the President's car passed, I heard three shots from up toward Elm right by the Book Depository Building, and then immediately I heard TWO MORE shots come from the arcade between the Book Store and the Underpass (Grassy Knoll), then THREE MORE SHOTS from the same direction only sounded further back. It sounded like a .45 automatic, or a high powered rifle. (Decker Exhibit 5323, p. 486) (Emphasis mine)

This means Millican heard EIGHT shots from multiple directions. He would die in 1986 WITHOUT ever being interviewed or called before the WC or the House select Committee on Assassinations (HSCA). In fact, as Marrs points out, he was NEVER INTERVIEWED by anyone. Notice his comment about the .45 automatic too. Some think Greer used this on JFK from inside the limousine, but I am not sure on this. However, other research has claimed that a hitman used this from the Dal-Tex building and there is comments from folks on the scene saying .45 ammo was found. This is from the "Gemstone Files":

Frattiano shot from a second story window in the Dal-Tex building across the street from the Texas School Book Depository. He apparently used a handgun-he is an excellent shot with a pistol. Frattiano and his back-up man were "arrested", driven away from the Dal-Tex building in a police car and released (without being booked). The Dallas police office is in the Dal-Tex building.

Millican had corroboration from his supervisor (and Brennan's too) Sandy Speaker. Mr. Speaker said his ENTIRE crew was there and they ALL CORROBORATED Millican's story. In an interview with Jim Marrs Speaker said:

I was the superintendent of construction for the Republic Bank project at the time. Millican and also Howard Brennan were working for me. We were fabricating plumbing piping for the Republic Bank Building under construction at the west end of Pacific Street [north of the TSBD]. Millican and the whole crew had knocked off for lunch and were by the Depository building to watch the parade. I hadn't gotten there yet when the [motorcade] passed. I was less than half-block away and heard the shots. I heard at least FIVE SHOTS and they came from DIFFERENT locations. I was a COMBAT MARINE with the First Marine Division in World War II, hand-to-hand combat, missions behind enemy lines, and I know what I am talking about. I have said for years there were more than THREE SHOTS FIRED. (Emphasis mine)

So we see Millican is corroborated by a man who was a COMBAT MARINE in WWII and would certainly be able to tell where shots came from as in combat your very life DEPENDED on this ability. Why was Mr. Speaker NEVER called? It is with witnesses like this who have something to offer, and the fact the WC, and subsequently the HSCA, IGNORED them that leads to most of Americans believing a conspiracy was involved in the killing of JFK. IF the WC had nothing to hide and was truly searching for the truth they would have at the very least interviewed these men, and others, but they did NOT!
