Month In Review -- May -- 1967 -- William “Bill” Waters dies this month of what police describe as a “drug overdose” (Demerol). No autopsy is performed. His mother says that Lee Harvey Oswald and Hank Killam came to her house prior to the assassination and her son attempted to talk Oswald and Killam out of being involved. Waters called FBI agents following the assassination. The FBI told him he knew too much and to keep his mouth shut. He was subsequently arrested and kept in Memphis in a county jail for eight months on a misdemeanor charge.

We are led to believe by the Warren Commission (WC) that he was VERY active, in fact, he was the head of the New Orleans chapter, but what they don’t mention is that that chapter had ONLY one member—LHO himself! They also did NOT promote what we see in their twenty-six volumes of evidence either.

The head of the FPPC was a man by the name of V. T. Lee and the WC included a number of letters LHO sent to him and his replies to LHO. One of these, Lee Exhibit 3A, page 517 says this.

This letter was dated May 22, 1963! IT clearly says they had mail returned to them which means they were mailing it to a place NOT connected with LHO (listen up WC defenders—think rifle) OR that his membership expired a long time ago! Either way, it does NOT show LHO to be an ACTIVE participant in this group for a long time, thus, one has to wonder why he became one in the summer of 1963? What made him become so active all of a sudden?

Robertson told the WC that on November 22, 1963, during the early evening, he saw Ruby in the DPD building trying to open the door to Captain Will Fritz's office, where Oswald was being interrogated, and then heard a voice say, "You can't go in there, Jack."
