Who was the “Mr. Phillips” Lee Harvey Oswald (LHO) mentions in his letters to his mother?
If we go to CE 196, page 573, we see this remark in a March 28, 1962, letter to his mother.

We know LHO did not know who this was at the time since he asked about him in a April 22, 1962, letter to his mother.

Who is Mr. Phillips? Since you work at a new place now, do you still have contact with him? (CE 197, p. 576)

The only two mentions we see of “Phillips” in her lengthy WC testimony are of the street she grew up on when she was little and the Secret Service (SS) Agent who brought a dictaphone to her post-assassination interview. Some have said over the years it referred to a Byron Phillips who was a former employer of Mrs. Oswald. The story goes she obtained an affidavit of support for LHO from him to help him return to the U.S. in 1962. The CIA would say LHO’s address book contained "Mr. Phillipes LI 2-22080" in it, but denied he was ever connected with the Agency in anyway.
Byron Phillips said this about the incident in May 1977: "Well, I didn't know that boy. His mother worked for my mother and daddy for two or three months and that is the only connection I had with him. I never did see him. As far as CIA contact, well, it had to be local over here, I didn't have any contact with anybody that I didn't know. There's a lawyer over here, I'm not sure if he's FBI-connected or not, he called me and talked to me about him one time. That's the only one that ever talked to me about him...that's before it ever happened. A lawyer over here named Curtis Renfro (born April 5, 1905; died September 1984) called me. He just asked me if I knew him..." (A.J. Weberman, Nodule 5)
If the “Mr. Phillips” mentioned was NOT Byron Phillips, could it have been another one by the name of David Atlee? Just wondering.
