The Warren Commission (WC) claimed that Lee Harvey Oswald (LHO) assassinated President John F. Kennedy (JFK) all by himself on November 22, 1963.
In trying to make this claim seem possible the WC would ignore many leads showing that a conspiracy was involved in the assassination of JFK.
This isn't wild “CT kooky thinking” either, but rather what an honest person can deduce from reading the WC Report (WCR). This post will look at some of the examples of the WC simply ignoring things when it pointed to a conspiracy.
****************************************
The “Speculation And Rumors” section of the WC Report (WCR) is loaded with doublespeak, distraction, diversion, assumption, and outright lies. There are so many distortions that this will take more than one installment to cover this section. The main topics which have becovered thoroughly will be skipped.
The first item in this post shows perfectly how the WC operated in this case.

Speculation. – Laboratory tests showed remains of the chicken lunch found on the sixth floor were two days old .
Commission finding. – The chicken lunch remains had been left there shortly after noon on November 22 by Bonnie Ray Williams. (WCR, p. 644)

This is more doublespeak by the WC as they refute this claim with no supporting evidence. The Dallas Police Department (DPD) initially claimed that the chicken lunch belonged to LHO. They tried to paint him as a cold-blooded killer because he sat and ate a chicken lunch while he waited for JFK to arrive so he could kill him. Pure fantasy.
Notice how the “speculation” section mentions a laboratory test, but the WC’s “finding” doesn't mention any counter laboratory test. How does the first test just get erased when there is no other test to show it was incorrect? All the WC does is claim that the chicken lunch belonged to Bonnie Ray Williams (BRW), but offers no supporting evidence for the claim.
Once again the WC expects us to just take their word for it. What if the chicken lunch was two days old? What does this do to the official narrative? Why would the WC keep the chicken lunch, and BRW, when they possibly didn't have to if it was two days old? As we have seen previously in this series BRW's affidavit from November 22 shows that he went downstairs around 10 minutes to noon and did NOT return to the sixth floor. Instead he said he went to the FIFTH floor with his lunch.
BRW affidavit (CE 2003, p. 65):
historymatters.com/archive/jfk/wc/wcvols/wh24/pages/WH_Vol24_0124a.jpg
There is NO mention of a trip to the sixth floor to eat a chicken lunch. The lunch gave the WC the opportunity to put BRW back into the building and on the sixth floor when he wasn't there. Why would they do this though? The only thing that makes sense is that the lunch must have belonged to one of the real assassins. Thus, the WC had to dump it on BRW once the attempt to tie it to LHO failed.
The chicken lunch had to have significance otherwise the WC could have just agreed that it was two days old. What do you think the significance was?
The WC mislead the reader with this “finding”.

Speculation. – Oswald did not have the marksmanship ability demonstrated by the rifleman who fired the shots.
Commission finding. – Oswald qualified as a sharpshooter and a marksman with the M-1 rifle in the Marine Corps. Marina Oswald testified that in New Orleans her husband practiced operating the bolt of the rifle. Moreover, experts stated that the scope was a substantial aid for rapid, accurate firing. The Commission concluded that Oswald had the capability with a rifle to commit assassination. (WCR, p. 645)

This “finding” is really the crux of the WC’s whole conclusion. Look at the nonsense that they use to make their claim instead of presenting supporting evidence.
They say LHO was a “sharpshooter and a marksman” in the Marines. As we have seen in this series these titles may sound impressive, but they basically mean that he was an average shooter. It was also achieved years before the assassination and as the WC pointed out these titles were achieved with a M-1 rifle. The M-1 is a semi-automatic rifle which meant it had NO bolt to operate, thus, his shooting ability with this weapon and the alleged assassination weapon have nothing in common. It an empty comparison.
The WC never presented any evidence showing that LHO ever practiced with the alleged murder weapon, while ignoring several examples of imposters practicing while claiming to be LHO, so they trotted out their star witness Marina Oswald to claim that he practiced “dry firing” and operating the bolt while they lived in New Orleans. They of course offered NO supporting evidence for her claim, but let's say that it was true. How does operating a bolt make you good enough to pull off one of the greatest shooting feats of all-time? This is like saying that Marco the mechanic can drive one of the greatest races of all-time. Nonsense.
They then said that experts said that the scope was an “substantial aid” for the shooting. As we have seen previously in this series the scope was not in a functioning state. It had to be repaired to use it for testing. It has been said that it was mounted for a left-handed person, but LHO was supposedly a right-handed according to the WC (even something this simple was not resolved by the WC as there is evidence showing that he could have been either one).
Even if we say the scope was functioning properly, and it wasn’t, how does a scope aid in allowing the shooter to fire rapidly when there was a difficult bolt to operate and a two-stage trigger to work?
Then the WC played its usual game of doublespeak. They concluded that LHO had the capability with A rifle to commit assassination. “A rifle” doesn't cut it. They had a responsibility to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that he used the alleged murder weapon to commit the assassination, but they failed miserably in this area. They couldn't even support the claim that LHO ordered, received and owned the alleged murder weapon.
The next item is an interesting issue.

Speculation. – Oswald was on his way to Jack Ruby's apartment when he was stopped by Patrolman Tippit.
Commission finding. – There is no evidence that Oswald and Ruby knew each other or had any relationship through a third party or parties. There is no evidence that Oswald knew where Ruby lived. Accordingly, there is neither evidence nor reason to believe that Oswald was on his way to Ruby's apartment when he was stopped by Tippit. (WCR, p. 650)

Didn't the WC claim that there was no evidence that Ruby was part of the mob too? I think so. How hard did the WC look into the issue of LHO and Ruby knowing each other? Probably not very hard so it is not difficult to not find any evidence of something that you have never looked into.
The premise is still that LHO was stopped by Dallas police officer J.D. Tippit (JDT) which the WC never supported with evidence. This again shows how hypocritical the WC were as they could make claims with NO supporting evidence, but no one else was allowed to.
The JDT shooting has been covered from every angle possible in this series and it is clear that the WC presented no evidence to show that LHO killed JDT. Why can't it be true that LHO knew Ruby and that he knew where he lived under the same premise? It could be possible for LHO to have been dropped off at Ruby's apartment as the whole bus and cab ride simply has no supporting evidence behind them.
As we have seen previously in this series the irony of the matter is if LHO was heading to the Texas Theater (TT) as claimed he would have been walking in a WESTERLY direction, but he would have to walk in an easterly direction to arrive at Tenth and Patton. This one issue shows how ridiculous the official narrative is. It simply makes NO sense.
We again see that the WC made claims that they had no supporting evidence for and ignored what the existing evidence actually showed. Thus, their conclusion is sunk again.
