The Warren Commission (WC) claimed that Lee Harvey Oswald (LHO) assassinated President John F. Kennedy (JFK) all by himself on November 22, 1963.
In trying to make this claim seem possible the WC would ignore many leads showing that a conspiracy was involved in the assassination of JFK.
This isn't wild “CT kooky thinking” either, but rather what an honest person can deduce from reading the WC Report (WCR). This post will look at some of the examples of the WC simply ignoring things when it pointed to a conspiracy.
****************************************
The “Speculation And Rumors” section of the WC Report (WCR) is loaded with doublespeak, distraction, diversion, assumption, and outright lies. There are so many distortions that this will take more than one installment to cover this section. The main topics which have been covered thoroughly will be skipped.
The WC repeatedly made claims that they did not support with evidence. Like this.

Speculation. – When Oswald left his roominghouse at about 1 p.m. on November 22 he had on a zipper-type tan plaid jacket.
Commission finding. – The jacket that Oswald was wearing at the time of slaying of Tippit was a light-gray jacket. According to Marina Oswald, her husband owned only two jackets—one blue and the other light gray. The housekeeper at 1026 North Beckley Avenue, Mrs. Earlene Roberts, was not certain about the color of the jacket that Oswald was wearing when he left the house. (WCR, p. 653)

Did you notice that the WC didn't provide any evidence for their claim that LHO wasn't wearing a tan plaid jacket? All they did was say Marina Oswald said that LHO only owned two jackets and since one was at the Texas School Book Depository (TSBD) Building than ipso factso it has to be the other one that he was wearing at the time Dallas Police Officer J.D. Tippit (JDT) was murdered. Of course they were implying that LHO killed JDT which is another claim that they never supported with evidence.
The star witness for the WC in the JDT area told the police at the time of the shooting that the killer was wearing a WHITE jacket. This has been covered previously in this series. Let's look at her testimony regarding the jacket.
Mr. BALL. What kind of a jacket, what general color of jacket?
Mrs. MARKHAM. It was a short jacket open in the front, kind of a grayish tan.
Grayish TAN? How can tan be grayish? This certainly doesn't support the WC's claim that the jacket was light gray.
Here is what another witness testified to.
Mr. BALL. What did you tell them you saw?
Mr. CALLAWAY. I told them he had some dark trousers and a light tannish gray windbreaker jacket, and I told him that he was fair.
Mr. BALL. I have a jacket here Commission's Exhibit No. 162. Does this look anything like the jacket that the man had on that you saw across the street with a gun?
Mr. CALLAWAY. Yes; it sure does. Yes, that is the same type jacket. Actually, I thought it had a little more tan to it.
We again see that the jacket seen had a TAN look to it as the “speculation” section said, but the WC said that wasn't so even though their own witnesses said that it did. This was a typical practice of the WC as they repeatedly made claims that ran counter to their evidence.
This item has never been proven so the “Commission finding” should be listed as speculation too.

Speculation. – Oswald was never formally charged with the assassination of President Kennedy; he was only charged with the shooting of Patrolman J.D. Tippit.
Commission finding. – Oswald was arraigned for the murder of President Kennedy before Justice of the Peace David Johnston on the fourth floor of the Police Department building at 1:35 a.m., November 23. Previously, he had been arraigned before Johnston for the murder of Tippit at 7:10 p.m., November 22. (WCR, p. 655)

We have seen previously in this series (and will again) that there is no credible evidence for this alleged arraignment of LHO at 1:30 a.m. on November 23 for the murder of JFK. There is serious doubt that LHO was ever charged with and arraigned for the assassination of JFK as the “speculation” said. Why? Because after the Dallas Police Department (DPD) allegedly charged LHO with murder he went before the media and said that he had NOT been charged with that crime. Sure, I know, “LHO was lying” according to the WC defenders, but IF this is true why didn't the police correct this statement if it was incorrect? No one did.
The alleged arraignments are evidence that LHO was being framed.
This next item is very interesting and could prove a conspiracy was afoot for something all by itself.

Speculation. – Ruby and Oswald were seen together at the Carousel Club.
Commission finding. – All assertions that Oswald was seen in the company of Ruby or anyone else at the Carousel Club have been investigated. None of them merits any credence. (WCR, p. 662)

Whether or not it was LHO seen at the Carousel Club is besides the point. This is the elephant in the room that WC is desperately trying to avoid. The *key* point is there was someone at the Carousel Club who looked very much like LHO to make numerous people think that they were seeing LHO.
As we have seen previously in this series the person who looked very much like LHO was Larry Crafard and he was working at the Carousel Club for Jack Ruby. Why was the WC ignoring the fact that at least three people – Larry Crafard, Billy Lovelady and William Seymour – bore a strong resemblance to LHO? How many people can say that they have so many people who can pass for them at one time?
This should have caused alarm bells for the WC, but instead they said that “none of this merits any credence.” Sure. The fact that there were multiple people resembling LHO alone should show anyone who is honest that some type of conspiracy was involved and LHO was being setup for something. There is NO other reasonable explanation.
We again see that the WC made claims that they had no supporting evidence for and ignored what the existing evidence actually showed. Thus, their conclusion is sunk again.
