The Warren Commission (WC) claimed that Lee Harvey Oswald (LHO) assassinated President John F. Kennedy (JFK) on November 22, 1963. They further claimed that he shot and killed Dallas Police Officer J.D. Tippit (JDT) on the same day. Their "investigation" provided no supporting evidence for these claims, and left a ton of questions regarding the conclusion that they reached.
Here is another one.

How did five pages of evidence turn into twenty-six pages when the FBI took possession of it?
If we go to the following exhibits, we will find only five pages of evidence listed by the DPD.
Stovall Exhibit A: www.historymatters.com/archive/jfk/wc/wcvols/wh21/pages/WH_Vol21_0310b.jpg
Stovall Exhibit B: www.historymatters.com/archive/jfk/wc/wcvols/wh21/pages/WH_Vol21_0311b.jpg
Turner (FM) Exhibit 1: www.historymatters.com/archive/jfk/wc/wcvols/wh21/pages/WH_Vol21_0351b.gif
If we look at the first page of Stovall Ex. A we see “(1) Small German camera and black case on chain and film” listed. This was the Minox camera that is referred to as a “spy camera”. The FBI would change this to a “light meter” once they took the evidence on the 23rd of November. How does one confuse a light meter for a camera? That has never been explained for us. Also, the detective that found the Minox camera, Gus Rose, refused to change the camera to a light meter as the FBI wanted.
The other thing that I have heard is the Minox was Michael Paine’s camera, but this raises several questions. Firstly, wasn’t the warrant only for LHO’s possession? I would think so as they would have no probable cause to get a warrant for Michael Paine, thus, why would they be taking things that belonged to Michael Paine? Secondly, if it was Michael Paine’s, why would he have a spy camera? No one has ever reasonably answered that question.
Finally, John Armstrong’s research showed that all Minox III cameras had serial numbers between 31501 and 58499, therefore, Michael Paine’s cannot be the one that the Dallas Police Department (DPD) found and is in the National Archives. Why? Because the serial number on the one the authorities claimed was his was 27259. This means his was a Minox II as they have serial numbers up to 31500, and this was not the type that they found in the Paine garage.
The FBI allegedly returned the camera to Ruth Paine, but Michael Paine said on the PBS television show “Frontline” that it was subsequently lost. The fact that the FBI would go to this much trouble to try and hide this camera has to be due to them fearing that this spy camera could illustrate a link between LHO and intelligence.
The Turner Ex. is for the 1026 N. Beckley address. You’ll notice how the first thing mentioned is that this search was executed because of Search Warrant 295. The interesting things on these two pages are the receipt from the Jones Printing Company and LHO’s Birth Certificate.
As we have seen previously in this series it was never shown that LHO ordered and picked up the “Hands Off” pamphlets. In fact the evidence shows that it was not LHO who ordered and picked up the pamphlets so why did LHO have the receipt at his roominghouse?
As for the Birth Certificate the WC never included it in their twenty-six volumes according to researcher John Armstrong. I did a thread on this topic to see if he was correct and the conclusion was that he was as what was offered was not a Birth Certificate. Whether you believe Armstrong’s theory of two Oswalds or not it cannot be denied that he provides meticulous research in most areas of this case. It is not a huge issue, but it does seem odd that it would be excluded from the twenty-six volumes.
Now, let’s look at what these five pages would become when the FBI took possession of the evidence.

This goes from page 332 to 344 (262-287 in original). That is twenty-six typed pages of evidence. Where did all this extra evidence come from? A lot of it is slanted towards socialism, Russia, and things that fit the profile we were given of LHO.
FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover (JEH) would state the following in a letter to DPD Police Chief Jesse Curry via Dallas Agent-in-Charge Gordon Shanklin.

The inventory list submitted by your office (joint FBI/DPD list of Nov. 26, 63) has been superseded by the list furnished to your office by the FBI laboratory dated 2/1/64. The 11/26/63 list submitted by your office is incomplete and is not completely accurate. (National Archives, FBI 124-10052-10100, HQ 105-82555-4953; FBI memorandum from Director to SAC Dallas, 8/14/64.)

How in the world would JEH know what was accurate, complete, and correct when neither he nor any of his agents were involved in the discovery of the evidence? Chief Curry was forced to accept the new, and much longer, inventory lists that the FBI sent AFTER they illegally took the evidence on 11/23/63.
I realize that evidence would be added from Dealey Plaza, Tenth and Patton, and taken off of LHO, but this could not equal twenty-one pages of evidence.

Can any WC defender explain where all this additional evidence came from since it was not found at the Paine residence or LHO’s roominghouse.
Once again we see evidence that disputes the claims of the WCR, thus, the WC’s conclusion is sunk.
