The Warren Commission (WC) claimed that Lee Harvey Oswald (LHO) assassinated President John F. Kennedy (JFK), shot and killed Dallas Police Officer J.D. Tippit (JDT), wounded Texas Governor John B. Connally (JBC) and attempted to kill retired General Edwin A. Walker (EAW). The evidence supporting these claims is absent from the WC’s twenty-six volumes of exhibits and testimony however, therefore, this has left many questions for us today.
Here is another one.

How could FBI informant Harry Holmes (T-2) know about a letter LHO sent to the Fair Play for Cuba Committee (FPCC), but not about LHO's alleged weapon deliveries?
On April 19, 1963, LHO sent the following letter to Vincent Lee at the FPCC headquarters in New York City.

I do not like to ask for something for nothing but I am unemployed. Since I am unemployed, I stood yesterday for the first time in my life. with a placard around my neck passing out Fair Play for Cuba pamphlets, etc. I only had 15 or so. In 40 minutes they were all gone. I was cursed as well as praised by some. My homemake (sic) placard said: 'Hands OFF CUBA! VIVA Fidel' I now ask for 40 or (50) more of the fine, basic pamplets-14.
Sincerely, Lee H. Oswald
PO Box 2915 Dallas, Tex." (Lee Exhibit 1, p. 511)

We know that Holmes illegally intercepted this letter and read it because we find in a report by FBI Special Agent James Hosty that he knew about it just two days after it was sent.

On April 21, 1963 Dallas confidential informant T-2 (Holmes) advised that LEE H. OSWALD of Dallas, Texas, was in contact with the Fair Play for Cuba Committee in New York City at which time he advised that he passed out pamphlets for the Fair Play for Cuba Committee. According to T-2, OSWALD had a plackard (sic) around his neck reading, “Hands Off Cuba Viva Fidel”. (Commission Document (CD) 11, p. 2)

This confirms that Holmes illegally opened LHO’s letter and read it. It also confirms that Holmes was monitoring LHO’s mail at his P.O. Box 2915, so, why would he not notify the FBI about weapons coming to his box? If he alerted Hosty about a letter, why wouldn’t he be just as diligent, if not more so, about weapons being delivered to LHO? Especially if the delivery violated Texas law by sending weapons to a P.O. Box?
Can any WC defender explain why Holmes would notify Hosty about a letter, but not about weapons being delivered to LHO’s P.O. Box?
